Search engines are software systems that retrieve specific information and conduct web searches. They are designed to search the World Wide Web in a systematic way based on users’ search queries.Â
In the current digital era, people usually search online to get their needs done instead of going to an expert, the main way to do so is to search for the things they want to find on the world wide web and to do so they need to enter their search query in the search engine. Many search engines have been introduced with unique features, and each is quite popular according to their demographic and requirements. However we are here to talk about the most popular search engines, but let’s see how search engines actually work.

*Indexing is the collecting, parsing, and storing of data so that all the data is available on the user`s display whenever they search for it.
